 This No.08 knife features a Carbon steel blade, a premium oak wood engraved handle, and a leather lanyard for ease of carry. The engraving is the mark of Opinel founder Joseph Opinel—“O. J.”—and a nod to his first workshop in the French Alps (Gevoudaz) with the coordinates “45.2300 N | 6.3129 E.”

As a nod to the original workshop - and Opinel founder, Joseph Opinel - we've created a limited edition No.08 Carbon Knife. Featuring an oak wood handle specially engraved with Joseph's personal signature and the coordinates of the first Opinel workshop in Gevoudaz, France.
