We all know the iconic Opinel pocket knife , with its wooden handle and ring to hold the blade. Simple and functional, it has become over time a reference, (re)known throughout the world. And to pay tribute to the famous N°8 model , the most famous of the Made In France knives, Opinel is releasing a limited edition "France!" .
For this unique collection – only 7,000 copies per model – Opinel called upon 3 artists from different countries to illustrate the handle and give their vision of France. Ale Giorgini who lives in Vincenza in Italy, Jeremyville from Brooklyn in the United States and Rylsee (Berlin) therefore lent themselves to the game and took up the challenge. A very nice result. Three creative and unique versions, each of which plays in its own way with French codes and stereotypes, between humor and emotion. Each knife is presented in a box personalized by the artist's illustration and will be provided with a specific "France!" Edition notice.
